Today everyone was getting prepared to go back to Ottawa so Ruth & I took a short trip to another place that Paul suggested, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden. In addition to the great varieties of plants and trees, a great feature of this place is that a lot of it appears to be in a natural state and it stretches from the west side of Hwy 1 all the way down to the coast. Volunteers also have an organic garden on the edge of the property, from which Ruth sampled some raspberries.
I cooked jerk pork chops for dinner and everyone went to bed early to prepare for an early start to travel day tomorrow.
Photos: None of the botanical garden since I forgot the camera again.
