Rained overnight but stopped and allowed me to pack up in overcast conditions.
Stopped at Missouri Hick Bar-B-Q for lunch and was invited to join a couple on a Gold Wing from Minnesota.
Great riding on hilly, curvy roads in Missouri after the flatlands of Illinois. Of course I was not riding the interstates, which are only meant for traveling between locations. I was on Route 66 to see the country and smalltown America. The trip is more important than the destination.
