Day 3 - Thu, June 5, 2008 - Grand Bend to Coloma/St. Joseph KOA, MI - 482.9 km/301.8 mi - Total 1126.1 km/703.8 mi

High recorded today 32C/90F.

Michigan's I-69 is one of the worst interstates that I've ridden. Continuous joints that can loosen fillings and some areas have rolling bumps that cause a pogoing effect. I-94 isn't much better in some places.

Stayed at KOA in Michigan & went to dinner at the Riverside Pub with Tom & Matt. They are two dual purpose bike rider (Kawi & BMW) who are on their way to a 2 day trail ride. Jody cooked us some good burgers & prime rib at the Riverside Bar & Rhonda served us beer.

Leave for Chicago and Route 66 start on Friday June 6.
